The data regarding the number of full time students from India who studied in six universities in the UK in the years of 2020/21 and 2021/22, has been illustrated by the table chart. The measurements are calibrated in numbers and percentage.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that, in the year 2021-2022 the dominant proportion of Indian students could be noticed in Sheffield university; while the lowest increase was the least among BPP university in the first year and Coventry University in the second year.
To embark with, sheffield university saw a highest rise 187.7% of Indian students and reached 2345 of total in 2021/22. Moreover, the number also increased greatly for Coventry University by 121.3% and arrived at 5290 students in 2021/22. The number of pupils in Leicester university climbed significantly from 1175 to 2390 pupils with a rise of 103.4%.
Furthermore, other universities grew under 100% in the figure of Indian freshers in 2020/21 and 2021/2022. The number of students went to Greenwich university and Anglia Ruskin University rase by 2085 freshers (84.9%) and 1340 (69.6%). Lastly, the number of students in BPP university remained high in both years at 3505 and 5145 which was 46.8%.
