Overall, employment is expected to increase in most sectors, with hospitality showing the fastest growth, while the number of cleaners is prdicted to decline slightly. Professors remain the largest occupational group in both years.
In 2015, professors accounted for the highest number of workers at approximately 2.79 million, rising modestly to 2.87 million by 2025, an increase of 3%, Hospitality employment is projected to grow more significantly, form 1.24 million to about 1.33 million, representing at 8% rise, the highest among all catagories. Education and office management are also expected to see moderate growth of 4% and 5% respectively.
Retal trades shows a smaller increase of 3.5% reaching nearly 1.85 million worker in 2025. In contrast, the number of cleaners is forecasted to fall by 1%, declinig by 1.22 milion
