Overall, it is apparent that the Germany and France experienced growth during this period. Additionally, a decrease was observed in Austria.
Germany, accounted for 310,806 and 300,143 number of accients in 2009 and 2019. However, It decline slightly to 4,152 and 3,046 number of persons killed, comprising the majority of congestion accidents. While, france contributed 72,315 and 56,006 in 2009 and 2019 respectively besides which increase to 4,273 and 3,237 number of persons killed , being higher than Germany. In contrast, Austria contributed 37,925 and 35,736 in 2009 and 2019. However, there was a gradually reduced at approximately 633 and 416 number of persons killed, making it one of the smaller number of traffic accidents.
Moving further, poland constituted reported the highest proportion of accidents at 44,195 and 30,288 in 2009 and 2019. It rose slightly to 4,572 and 2,909 respectively. Subsequently, portugal represented the smallest number of vehicles around 35,484 and 37,213 number of accidents in 2009 and 2019 and decrease further to 793 and 689 by 2009 and 2019 respectively.
