The table and pie chart provide information about the change in tourist numbers and satisfaction before and after Ashdown Museum’s refurbishment.
Overall, about half of guests were disappointed after attending the museum before the renovation. However, the situation changed drastically after the reconstruction. Exactly three quarters admitted that they enjoyed the experience of coming to the new version of the museum. And it is without mentioning that the number of spectators increased by almost a quarter.
To be specific, the total figure of incomers went up significantly from 74000 to 92000.
Moving on to visitor satisfaction, the index of very satisfied viewers had sharply soared from 15 to 35. Additionally, the proportion of those who were satisfied with the exhibition grew from 30 to 40. Furthermore, much fewer ‘dissatisfied’ and ‘very dissatisfied’ ones left after the renovation, from 40 and 10, these values had decreased to 15 and 5 respectively. Also, there were 5 interviewees who didn’t participate in the survey either before and after the refreshment of the museum.
