Overall, it is evident that all groups experienced upward patterns over a decade. In addition, the youngest individuals were the group that had the highest participation in sports throughout the period.
In 2010, people aged 10 to 19 ranked first with 75%, followed by 60% of 20-39 age group. Additionally, middle-aged people accounted for 45%, which was more than half of the elderly.
Over the next ten years, noticeable increases were observed in the rate of people taking part in sports activities. To be specific, the most considerable rise belonged to individuals aged 60 and above, standing at 35% in 2020. Also, the 40-59 group witnessed a significant growth, reaching 55%. Furthermore, the figures for the 10-19 and 20-39 age brackets rose slightly to 80% and 65% respectively.
