Overall, age group 18-29 preferred online shopping the most each year. Meanwhile, the percentage of people in the age group 50-64 used online shopping the least.
In 2010, the percentage of people in category 18-29 using online shopping was 45% which significantly rose to 70% in 2015. The value increased to a value of 85% in 2020 which is the highest value in all of the age group. Also, 30% people in age group 30-49 chose online shopping in the year 2010. This figure plummeted to 55% in 2015 before reaching 75% in 2020.
Meanwhile, in 2010 only 15% of the people in the age group 50-64 used internet for shopping which is the least for any group. Afterward, a slight increase in interest in online shopping was seen as 35% used internet for shopping in 2015. This figure further surged to a value of 50% in 2020.
