The table compares the information about population who rode bicycles in one town across five different age of group in percentage in 2012.
Overall, the percentage of females in age group rode bicycles was higher than that of males in all age group. Additionally, this activity was the most popular among those younger than 9 years old.
In terms of female cyclists, 0-9 age group had the highest proportion at 52.5 percent, followed by 43.6 % in the 10-19 age group. The proportion of women aged 20-39 who rode bicycles was 18.2%, while 13.7% of those aged 40-59 and 19.8% of those older than 60 participated in cycling.
Turning to the male cyclists, significantly more percent of using bicycles was 51.2% among younger than 9 years old. Individuals aged 10-19 and 20-39 accounted at 25.1% and 10.8% in turn. In contrast, masculine aged 40-59 and those over 60 years old showed only a slight difference, with just around 5% participating in cycling.
