Notably, Melbourne rose dramatically from $2.40 to $2.90 from 2010 to 2014, which noticed the largest percentage growth in coffee costs. However, the figure for Brisbane flattened out at $2.50 and it placed third highest over four years.
Focusing on Perth, Adelaide, and Canberra, they were notable examples and ranked last during the period. At the beginning of the period, the coffee cost in Perth and Adelaide were $2.10 and $1.87, respectively, then in 2014 they witnessed a similar increase of approximately 7%. Canberra maintained the lowest price throughout the timeframe, even though it increased slightly from $1.60 to $1.70.
