The given graph shows information on the changes in the average price of coffee drinks in six different Australian cities between 2010 and 2014.
Overall, all of the examined regions, except Brisbane, witnessed a rise in the amount of money customers had to pay for a cup of coffee.
As observed, the largest change was seen in Melbourne, where a cup of coffee cost $2.90 in 2014, approximately 21% higher than it cost two years ago. Another city experiencing a significant increase was Sydney, the figure for which increased by just above 13% from $2.90 to $3.17.
Canberra and Perth were the last two areas to show upward trends, rising by 6.25% from $1.70 to $1.80 and by around 7% from $2.10 to $2.25, respectively. Regarding Brisbane, it was the only city where the price of the beverage underwent no change at all, as it remained unchanged at exactly $2.25 per cup.
