The table below demonstrates the data of the sales of a small restaurant in a downtown business district within a week of October 7-13.
On Monday, the restaurant made 2.400 dollars during lunch hours and 3.623 dollars during dinner hours relatively. On Tuesday, the difference between lunch and dinner was slightly increased, 2.450 dollars and 3.850 dollars respectively. There was a mild drop in the restaurant profit on Wednesday, while on Thursday the sales came back to normal level. It is noticable that on Friday sales shot up during the evening meal, with the profit of nearly 4.400 dollars. On the weekend, for a change, there was an obvious downfall in the overall profit from both day and evening shifts.
To sum up, the restaurant sales remained steady during the weekdays, only with an exception on Friday evening. In addition, there was a noticable decrease in the restaurant profit during the weekend, which can be connected with the location and the corresponding social demand.
