The table gives information about the monthly sales collected by a local bookshop in the UK in January of 2010.
From an overall perspective, it can be seen that magazines recorded the highest sales, while the last popular product sales was books. In addition, adults contributed the most non-members buys, whereas members witnessed the largest proportion of novel sales.
In terms of non-members collecting the monthly sales, there were 330 for magazines collected by students, which had the highest figure compared to others. Whereas, novels ranked last in the monthly sales saved by the same group with only 31. With respect to adults, similar to students, the figure for magazines ranked first in the monthly basis sales, at 1250 compared to books which had the least popular proportions of sales standing at 30. Now turning to seniors, people had a tendency for collecting novels and magazines except for books, with 124 for novels and 80 for magazines. With regards to members, the category that had the highest figure was novels, at 942, but the figure for magazines was lowest with 39.
Regarding the total number, the bookshop sold a total of 3134 items in January 2010. However, it was clear that magazines were the most popular product sales with a total of 1699, followed by novels standing at 1291. The second largest popularity was books with only 144 of the total. Moreover, adults were the group supporting the most for buying items with a total of 1474, compared to seniors collecting the least standing at 204.
