Overall, companies like Nokia, Motorola, and Sonic Ericsson had experienced an increase in their market share while the remaining companies experienced a decrease. It is worth noting that Nokia had the most shares in both years. In comparison Benq Mobile had the least shares.
By 2006 Motorola increased its share by almost 4% more and surpassing a collective group of other mobile phones company in number of shares which had decline by exactly 3%. Leaving Nokia at the top with the most shares in both years, as it had 32.5% by 2005 and increased to 35% in 2006, followed by Motorola, and the Other mobile phone manufacturers.
In comparison companies that had less shares like Samsung, LG, and Benq Mobile continued to have a decrease in their percentage of marketing shares respectively having 11.85, 6.3%, and 2.4%. In contrast despite having a low amount of percentage Sonic Ericsson increased to 7.4% in 2006 from 6.3% in 2005.
