Overall, while Samsung had the highest sale in the USA, it also dominated the chart in the UK along with Xiaomi. The least sales went to Nokia in the USA and Huawei in the UK.
In the USA, it is clear that on top of the chart was Samsung, with 8.5 million sales. The second highest was Xiaomi, at 5.5 million, and followed behind was Apple, at 5.0 million. Huawei had 3.0 million sales, which was at the fourth rank. A little bit lower than that was Oppo, with 2.3 million. And in the last place was Nokia, which only had 2.0 million sales, roughly one fourth of Samsung.
In the UK, although Samsung only had 6.0 million phones sold, which was 2.5 million sales less than in the USA, it remained being in the first place. Along with Samsung was Xiaomi, also had the same figure and rank. It had sold 500.000 mobile phones more than in the USA. In the second place was 3.9 million, which belonged to Apple. Apparently, it had lower sales than in the USA by 1.1 million. In the next place was Oppo with 2.8 million sales, which had the same pattern as Xiaomi. The figure for Nokia remained unchanged at 2.0 million mobile phones. Lastly, Huawei only had 1.5 million sales, half of the number in the USA.
