The table illustrates data on allocating money for well-being in five various countries, Japan, Italy, France, Germany and USA, in 2002. Overall, USA was pronounced as the dominant, while the reverse was true for Japan in every category. Furthermore, Germany also showed somehow dominance, but still not enough to surpass the USA.
Looking at the table, it is evident that USA demonstrated high figures in each section, but in public spending, the trend was bucked by Germany.(17%,18%) In total spending, USA stood at 40%, while Germany constituted 35%. According to the private spending, there was still 5% difference between two countries, USA 20% and Germany 15%.
Turning to the remaining countries, France amounted at 30% in total spending while Italy was 25%. The figure which was given by France in public spending was comprised of 15%, however, those in Italy spent 10%. A final category, private spending, with showing 4% difference: France 12% and Italy 8%. Finally, Japan was the lowest in every section: for total spending 20%, for public spending 10% and for private spending 5%.
