Overall, Nokia became in vogue worldwide both 2005 and 2006. In addition, Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson had an upward trend, contrast other manufacturers such as Samsung, L.G, BenQ Mobile, and Others declined in the individual market shares over this period.
In 2005, Nokia took the lead in the market with 32,5% of global production, consumption percentage of Motorola lower than Others with 17,7% but in 2006, there was a very sharp growth in the number of Nokia manufacturers and surpassed Others by 4,9%. On the other hand, Samsung experienced a small drop of 0,9% compared to that in 2006. LG’s market share decreased to 6,3% in 2006. BenQ Mobile wasn’t popular during that time period, just 2,4% in 2006.
