Overall, the value of tea exports increased across all five countries, with China experiencing the most dramatic growth. In contrast, the mango market showed mixed results, as some countries saw a rise in export value while others witnessed a decline. Vietnam was the dominant mango exporter throughout the period
Regarding tea, China’s export earnings surged from just $2.5 million in 2014 to $78 million in 2019, making it the top exporter. India also had a significant increase, from $6.0 million to $10 million. The other countries recorded more modest growth.
For mangoes, Vietnam solidified its leading position as its export value grew substantially from $20 million to $52 million. While Pakistan and India also saw considerable increases, China and Indonesia experienced a fall in their mango export revenues over the five-year period.
