Overall, the Asia Pacific and Australia were able to increase their export quantity with lesser import duty in 10 years. In contrast, the export quantity got decreased in other major countries, in addition to higher import duty percentage.
The Europe and the USA were the leading exporter with 6900 and 4200 in 2002 respectively, whereas there was a slight decrease in the export quantity to 6400 and 3900. Similarly, the export was decreased in China and Latin America. In contrast, the Asia Pacific and Australia has increased their export quantity almost three times during the same tenure. Meanwhile, the rest of the nation was making the export without any changes to the quantity and import duty.
The import duty got increased dramatically for Europe, China and Latin America, whereas the duty percentage got reduced greatly for US, Asia Pacific and Australia. Overall, there is no meaningful correlation between the export quantity and import duty.
