Regarding the volumes, total exports increased slightly, reaching 18600 million tonnes by 2012. Within this total, the most areas declined in volumes. For example, Europe- the largest destination- declined from 6900 million to 6400 million tonnes , and the USA-the second largest- dropped to 3900 million. China decreased marginally from 2400 to 2300 million, and Latin America fall to 1500 million in 2012. The “other” remained static to 350 million. By contrast, there was a considerable rose to 2550 and 2300 million in the figure for Asia Pacific and Australasia, respectively.
Turning to taxasion, reaching at 2% in the USA, China, Latin America and Asia Pacific, and dipping to 1% in Australasia. In Europe, it rose to 8% by 2012, while the “other” remained stagnant
