The table illustrates the revenue of cocoa beans and coffee in five European countries: United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland from 2000 to 2005.
Overall, United Kingdom showed the highest sales of both products, France exhibit the second highest income, whereas Germany sales increased over time. In contrary, the Netherlands and Switzerland displayed the least.
United Kingdom ranks the highest in cocoa beans with 13.6% in 2000 and 27.3 in 2005, while in coffee it’s sales soared above all with 68.3% million of euros in 2000 to 137% in 2005. Furthermore, France ranked second in coffee from 32.6% to 65.2% in 5 year time, while in coca held low revenue with 4.6% to 9.3% over time from 2000 to 2005.
Secondly, Germany demonstrated great sales , in year 2000, coffee income was 24.5 which increased to 49.5 in 2005; whereas, cocoa beans sales were very low only 2.6% to 5.2% in half decade. In contrary, the Netherlands had very low sales only 2.4% to 4.8 in cocoa beans and 15.2 to 30.3 in coffee. Similarly, Switzerland ranks at last in both products, cocoa beans revenue displayed 0.9% in year 2000 to only 1.8% in 2005 and coffee showed 7.5% to 14.9% in 5 years.
