The tables compare feedback from club members and the general public regarding three aspects of a new theatre: production quality, information about the plays to the public, and facilities.
Overall, the vast majority of respondents across both groups gave highly positive ratings, with information to the public receiving the highest praise. Conversely, only a small percentage of those surveyed expressed dissatisfaction with any of the categories, with facilities recording the highest negative rating.
In terms of specific trends, all categories received relatively similar feedback percentages from club members, with figures hovering around 73%. The general public’s opinion, however, exhibited a stark disparity between categories. Information about the performances to the public registered the highest proportions at a staggering 88%. Production quality was rated highly by 67% of respondents, while facilities accounted for the smallest percentage at 55% in this group.
Shifting the focus to less favourable feedback, the proportions of ‘satisfactory’ and ‘poor’ ratings were predictably minimal. While the production quality recorded fairly similar percentages for the satisfactory level at 17% and 18% from club members and the general public respectively, 23% of club members gave satisfactory feedback to the information about the plays to the public and facilities. In contrast, 10% and 19% of the general public rated the information to the public and facilities as satisfactory. Negative feedback constituted a tiny fraction of the overall data, with most figures below 15% except facilities, which received a poor rating by 26% of the general public.
