The pie chart is divided into 6 different sections: Higher Education, Transportation, Environmental services, K-12 Education, Health and human resources, Other. By looking at all these charts, we could see where the authorities spent money in Someland annually throughout the 20 years. Each summarizes how many funds were spent into a certain section.
The first chart is the results of 1980. The most of the funds, 35%, were spent into higher eductaion. 25%, also a big amount, were spent for K-12 education. 16 and 14%- smaller amounts yet still important, were used for transportation of the local people and health. 4 and 6%- were used into upgrading environmental services and other matters. We can see that the authrities attempted to divide the funds equally into each section, since they were all important. Yet, it’s admirable that they wanted better education for kindergarteners and middle schoolers, and divided more fund for them.
The second is a result of the 1990. From the last decade, the resources and the attention was mostly on higher education, due to it raising about 10%. Yet, the education of little children has been lowered by 5%, the K-12 education now only 20%.The funds for transportation have lowered to a vital 10%, now only taking up 6%. However, the funds have been raised for health and human resources by 6%, now a whopping 20% on the chart. Environmental services and other matters are still barely noticeable on the chart, stable even after a decade.
At the start of the 2000s, the chart has changed drastically. Higher education was still a giant in the chart, now taking up 40%. K-12 education and transporattion have been given more attention, bothof them holding 18 and 22%. Health and human resources, however, were devoid of any attention, only adding up to 10%. Environmental services started getting more attention as time went on, finally making it up to 10%, Other matters were a 1%, which is incredibly low.
Judging by this chart, we can conclude that the authorities of Someland are admirable in their determination for making kids and teenagers educated, since they spent most of their funds in that matter througout 3 decades. Although, I think that they should start giving more attention to the transportation and health of the local people. Obviously, we can’t laeve environment completely ignored, since our environment is getting dirties by us more and more each day.
