The two pie charts illustrate the percentage of graduate qualification in a specific country in two distinct years.
As can be inferred from the charts, while Science graduates exhibited a significant growth, the opposite was true for Art graduates. In addition, it is also apparent that Masters Science registered the highest figure out of the groups examined.
Regarding Art graduates, 25% of Bachelor Art degree holders held a second place in 1980, followed by a plummet to 11% in 2008. By contrast, Masters Art seemed to have a slight fall from 12% to 13% in 1980 and 2008, respectively. Although PhD Arts experienced a slight growth from 2% to 7%, it still remained in the bottom place.
Turning to Science graduates, First degree and Masters in Science both remained unchanged at 19% and 29% respectively throughout the period. Despite not having the high rankings in 1980 with merely 13%, PhD Science was almost double in 2008 with 30%.
