The given charts illustrate the proportion of male and female prison inmates in the United Kingdom and the rate of criminal convictions amongs the men and the women in different ages. Overall, the men contributed the highest percentage of gender inmates porpotion in United Kingdom, specifically on the age of 20s.
According to the pie chart, Male had almost dominated 94% of the porpotion of prison inmates in United Kingdom, which left the rest of the porpotion of 4% to a female. This indicates that criminals tend to be done by men rather than women.
This survey followed by the rates of ages of men and women to do criminal covictions, the overall percentage rate of the male in every ages is higher than the female’s rate. In the early age of 10 until 15, shows that male’s precentage about 2% and 8 % of all convictions, while the female’s rate shows 0 cases and 3% in their teenage. Moving on to their 20s, is the peak era where both male and female did criminals act, where each reported 16% and 5% of the porpotion. However after 20s, there are rapid decrease on the male’s rate of percentage as they went down 2% per 5 years of their age. Male at the age of 25, shows about 14%, age of 30 went down to 12%, age of 35 continue to 9%, and stop at the age of 40 in 8%. Meanwhile the female rate of percentage shows a slight decrease from age 20 to 25, only 1% of reduction, and remained constant until the age of 30, and another 1% decline on the age of 35. On the following age of 45 to 60, there were a rapid drop percentage on the men’s rate from 8% to 2%, while the female’s percentage contantly in 1% rate from age 45 until 55, and then shrink off to 0% on the age of 60.
In summary, the data indicates the most practical user of criminal convictions were men in the age of 20, and as the age is getting older, the rate of the criminals also dropped. However as the female cases, the rates diminished slowly.
