The line graphs illustrate the average temperature and the level of sunshine during a year in two Australian cities.
Generally, temperature in Darwin was much higher than that of Melbourne. The hours of sunshine in both cities fluctuated between 6 and 12 throughout the year.
On the one hand, in January, the temperature in Darwin began with around 18. It then consistently rose and reached a peak at 30 in August before experiencing a steady decline to 21 by December. Melbourne also saw a similar trend, starting with 6 and finishing with about 9 by the end of the year, in spite of a significant growth to 18 in July.
On the other hand, the amount of sunny time in Darwin were initially about 6 hours. Afterwards, by June, the figure surged to around 11 and remained relatively stable at this level until September before declining to 8 in December. Melbourne witnessed an opposite trend, where either starting or finishing points were around 10 hours.
