The maps show the developments in an Irish village between 2000 and now.
Overall, the village experienced a remarkable change from rural to urban over the time. The most noticeable changes were the increasing number of houses, and the dock was removed by the local council.
To begin, there were four in the center of village in 2000, which grew threefold to 13 homes on the both sides of the north roadway, respectively. The field was located in the north-west part of the property, and they transformed it into a park with various types of trees. Four stores were along the west road and it remained untouched across the period, however opposite side of the road witnessed two markets in 2020, which were changed into restaurants.
Turning to the river’s edge the dock and boats in the south part have been removed. The hotel, located at the corner of two major rotes, remained untouched throughout the period. In addition, a new parking structure was created on the right side of the road.
