The maps illustrate a small village located in the west of Ireland at present time and back in the year 2000.
Over the period, multiple housing has been erected, a park was added, and the dock was removed. Transforming the once commercial area to a residential one.
A new street was paved north of the hotel, and new housing units were built around it. Other residential units were also added to the previous units southeast of the farmland, after elongating the already existing street. To the right-hand side of the hotel, car parks were set up to compensate for the adding number of living places.
A now former farmland was replaced with a lively park instead. New restaurants took over the designated place for markets over the shore. The dock at the shore of the town was removed in its entirety. Despite all the changes occurring in the small town, the shops were able to persevere till now with no change at all.
