The map represents the town of Riverford as it was in 2007 and how it looks in 2017. The town used to be less built-up and by 2017 some developments had significantly changed the whole view.
In 2007 the area of Riverford was underdeveloped enough, and therefore there were only necessary facilities: a school on the western side, as well as a few shops on the middle side of the map. There are some apartmnets located on the fronside of the forest area. Additionally, the hospital is placed on the western side. However, the map for 2017 represents that some radical changes were made.
A new town center has renewed objects such as an apartment area on the south west side. The hospital and train station were newly upgraded and expanded. Meanwhile, the shopping mall was built where the shops used to be. The only features of the map to stay the same are some apartments and the buildings itself.
