The two maps delineates the layout of a park in the year 1980 and the present.
It is evident that the transformation over the period was significant. The removal of the outline wall, the addition of new pathways, intersections, and new facilities are clearly shown on the current map. This infrastructural shift makes the park more family-friendly and fun to visit.
In 1980, the park has a rectangular wall with two main gates on the south and on west side. There was only one main road connecting both gates. On the east side of the road, there was a small forest infiltrating the park, whereas on the west side, there was a pond surrounded with benches. The south side has two flower gardens beside the main road.
On the current configuration, the wall surrounding the park, some of the trees, and flower gardens are removed, making the park more spacious. The west flower garden is changed into bushes, while the east is transformed into an activity area. New pathways are also added, connecting the north and west side of the park. There are also novel facilities such as a barbeque area with three picnic tables.
