Given are two maps illustrating the look of Dalton town in two different time periods, 1815 and 2015. In general, the town changes almost everything after a period of 200 years for industrial development.
According to the map in 1815, the western region is largely undeveloped, mainly consisting of the Dalton forest, there also has a small Ford for people to go through the river in the southwest which connects with the bridleway on the other side. By 2015, there were just a few trees remaining after the modification, the forest was demolished and renovated into an industrial zone with a large scale of houses and factories, a new hospital and bridge were erected on the right edge side of the western.
In the east, the difference is even more obvious. Primarily, the place that used to be for the hall farm and cattles in 1815 were rebuilt and reconstructed to be a school and resident’s house in 2015. On the top side of the town, the huge number of trees were also chopped for living, and just a few remain after the alteration. Besides, Dalton hall was relocated to above a new hotel in 2015, there was a new airplane located at the bottom side near the river Dal.
