The two maps shown below demonstrates the replacements in a town which is called Dalton from 1815 to 2015.
Overall, the town’s farming purpose has been remade to focus on modernized amenities to supply for residential needs by clearing off the forest and local farms.
In 1815, the northwestern areas was just all forests and plants with a stream besides it which comes from River Dal. Across the stream, cattle were raised around the Hall Farm, with also households and some horses living nearby on the east. There was also a building named Dalton Hall on the very eastern part. In addition, there was also some barriers to separate people from the woods and the livestock farms.
In 2015, the forests were taken down for industrial zone and the hospital. Trees were reduced in quantity and each part of Dalton was more organized. People have built a bridge across the stream for people to cross. On the other side of the stream, more houses were added, surround a local school which lies on the center, and a hotel on the most eastern area. There was also an airport built near the River Dal.
