The image depicts two maps of Westley, one from 1815 and one from the present day. The 1815 map shows a smaller town with fields surrounding it, a church, market square, and houses. The town is connected to London by a single road with a tollbridge, and a dirt track leads to Tinton Village and Lord Westley's House. In contrast, the present-day map shows a larger, more developed town with a sports center, museum, shopping center, cinema, business, and residential areas. The road to London is now a dual carriageway, and there is a new lake and housing estate near Tinton Village.
