The pictures compare the layout of the supermarket five years ago and in the present.
Overall, the most notable changes were that more karts were added for customers and fridges for frozen food were moved to another place. Furthermore, a new aisle and a self checkout were introduced.
Looking at the map of five-year old supermarket, it is evident that the refrigerator for frozen foods was located in the north-west corner. It was removed and two new smaller fridges were established on the east side of the supermarket. This alteration was accomplished by moving the meat and diary sections to the north. The section itself was enlarged to include more products.
On the west side, more karts were added for customers and their line was extended. Another addition is the introduction of a new exit way next to the entrance. The existing checkouts in the southern side were reduced in number and four new self checkouts were opened to the left of them. In the middle of the map, a new aisle for weekly specials and international food appeared to the west of the section for fruits and vegetables.
