The map pictures given illustrate the layout difference in the town of Trenten during the year of 1990 and 2012.
Overall, the major difference can be spotted in the changes of house to blocks of flats as well as cafe to hotel.
To begin with, in 1990, the right side of the town was filled with houses buildings. However, in 2012, the whole area was replaced by blocks of flats, albeit the location didn’t change, it still grew rapidly until it covered most of the town areas including the left side of High Street. Furthermore, park and cafe’s place was overtaken by hotel and golf course in 2012. The entertainment building such as theatre became unpopular then replaced by cinema building. Lastly, shop became supermarket in 2012.
Moving to the left side of High Street, the buildings changed were only 50% of it. Since, the school, the hospital, as well as the library still remained in the same locations. Moreover, trees location was replaced with technopark which was more efficient in modern world. Next, bank declined and replaced with restaurants in 2012.
