The two maps compare how Greenwood changed between 1985 and 2005.
Overall, it is clear that the area experienced significant alterations to accommodate its growing population, with the construction of several buildings and new roads. It is also noteworthy that, despite the changes, certain elements, such as the train station, remained unchanged during the period.
In 1985, the Greenwood area had only a few facilities. In the north-west corner, six houses had been built to accommodate residents, next to which there was a farm where various plants were produced. Adjacent to the farm was a train station, and a main road ran past the station towards the north.
By 2005, the greenery zone had undergone several changes and had been transformed into a more modernized Greenwood with a wider range of facilities. The houses in the north-west had been demolished and replaced with high-rise buildings. The farm had been relocated to the eastern side of the area, and the number of farms had doubled. In the south-west corner, two buildings and additional roads had been constructed for residents. Furthermore, a manufacturing industry had been established in the southern part of Greenwood. Throughout these developments, Greenwood retained its essential amenities, such as the main road and the train station.
