The maps compare the layout of road access to a city hospital in 2007 and that in the next three years, in 2010.
As an overview, the road to the hospital was modernized, with the introduction of a new parking area, two roundabouts, and a bus station.
According to 2007 map, the city hospital was located in the center of Ring Road, which was parallel to City Road with Hospital Road running vertically in the middle. There were also six bus stops on each side of Hospital Road, with a car parking space for both staff and public in the east.
Turning to 2010, it can be seen that the city hospital area experienced big changes over three years. Ring Road was updated with the addition of a roundabout at the T-section with Hospital Road. Moreover, only staff’s cars were allowed to park in the old car park as a new car parking for public was constructed to the right of Ring Road. Another noticeable change is the construction of another roundabout at the junction, where Hospital Road and City Road meet. Additionally, bus stops were all removed as a result of the emergence of a bus station, which was linked with two roundabouts, to the west of Hospital Road.
