The two maps illustrate the changes in road access to a city hospital between 2007 and 2010.
Overall, there were significant changes, especially on the southern part of the hospital, including the addition of two roundabouts, a new bus station, and separate parking areas for staff and the public.
In 2007, the city hospital was encircled by a ring road that connected to Hospital Road on the southern side. On this side, there was also City Road, which ran east to west. Bus stops were situated opposite each other on Hospital Road. To the east of Hospital Road, there was a car park that served both staff and the public.
By 2010, the car park previously used for both staff and public parking had been converted into a staff-only car park. A new car park for the general public was constructed to the east of City Road. Additionally, two roundabouts were added: one at the junction of Hospital Road and the ring road, and another at the intersection of City Road and the ring road. The original bus stops were removed, and a new bus station was established on the western side of Hospital Road. This new bus station was linked to both roundabouts.
