In 2007, the hospital road had six bus stops lined up on its east and west sides. There was a car park on the east side, designated for both staff and the public, with a single entrance from the ring road.
In 2010, the ring road around the city hospital had a public car park on its east side. A roundabout was built on the south of the ring road, connecting it to the bus station on the west of hospital road. The car park on the east side of hospital road was changed to staff-only parking and the three bus stops on the east side of hospital road were removed. The junction of city road and hospital road is altered to a roundabout.
