The first map illustrates the City Hospital in 2003, and the underneath one shows the changes in three years.
Firstly, the hospital provided more opportunities to park here during the three years’ construction. To be more specific , there was a new public car park built on the east side of the City Hospital ,and the original one remained only for staffs .
What’s more , the transportation system has also been improved significantly. For instance, the two intersections, one connecting Ring road and Hospital road and the other connecting the Hospital road and city road, have been updated to two roundabouts that both connected to the same sizeable bus station on the west side of Hospital road’s middle point. Therefore , the original bus stops on both sides of Hospital road were no longer needed and were subsequently canceled.
Overall, the car park was divided for two purposes while bus stops was integrated into one prodigious bus station . Moreover, the roundabout substituted both intersections.
