The presented maps depict the evolution of road accessibility to City Hospital, comparing the years 2007 and 2010.
Significant changes in road infrastructure and parking facilities occurred between 2007 and 2010, enhancing access to the hospital.
In 2007, City Hospital was primarily accessed via City Road, which connected to Hospital Road. This setup featured six bus stops along Hospital Road, with three on each side, to serve public transport needs. Additionally, there was a shared car park for both staff and visitors located on the right side of the road.
By 2010, substantial modifications were introduced to improve traffic management and accessibility. Two roundabouts were established at either end of Hospital Road to streamline vehicular movement. All the previous bus stops were removed and replaced by a centralized bus station on the left side of Hospital Road. The original combined car park was reallocated exclusively for staff, and a new public car park was created along the Ring Road adjacent to City Hospital.
