It is clear that managerial and professional was the most popular occupation for male, and for female that was clerical and related job, while no women is shown to be general labourer, and this sector only employed a small number of men.
In detail, managerial and professional accounted for nearly two fifth of total men, which nearly doubled that of women, at 22.0 %. An opposite pattern was seen in craft-related and clerical-related workers, above one-fifth of males worked in the former and exactly 5.0% in the latter, whereas those acounted for 4.5% and one third of female employment, respectively.
There is hardly any women worked as general labourer, and this sector only made up 2% of men employment. The porpotions of those working on other manual occupations were quite similar for both sex, at 28.0% for men and 32.0% for women. the number of females being employed in other non-manual jobs was nearly twofold that of men, with 11% and 6% respectively.
