Overall, in both countries the biggest portion of the marital status is Separated but not divorced and Married. Specifically, the biggest percentage of Canada’s citizens is Separated but not divorced. On the other hand, the Australian population is mostly married.
Two largest parts of Canadian population are Separated but not divorced and Married , with 53% and 29% respectively. However, in Australia the population’s portion of Married is 46%, that is higher than portion of, Separated but not divorced, just by 5 %.
The remaining four marital statuses in Canada is Never married, Widowed, Divorced and Same sex marriage. Overall they are only 18% of the Canada’s population, and only 13% of Australia’s population excluding Same sex marriage. In addition, the percentage of Never married population of Canada is 7%, while in Australia there are only 5%.
