The two pie charts provide information about the proportions of industry sectors’ contribution to the economy of the turkey in the years 2000 and 2016. Overall, In the beginning year, the most significant sector was agriculture and the least sector that contributed to Turkey economy was the construction. In comparison, in the ending the largest sector was healthcare and education and the least was finance,business and others.
In the year 2000, construction made up 3% of Turkey economy but in the year 2016 it increased to more than three times which was 10%. In 2000, manufacturing and trade, utilities and transportation was at 8% and 14% but 16 years later it rose to 14% and 16% respectively. In the initial, finance, business and others was 5% and in 2016, it slightly increased to 8%.
In the year 2000, agriculture accounted for 24% of Turkey economy. However, in the year 2016 it reduced to 14%. In the beginning period government, and leisure and hospitality contributed 12% and 17% but in 2016 , both decreased by 3% respectively. In contrast, healthcare and education remained constant at 17% in both years.
