The sharpest growth in water usage occurred in the service industry, which rose by a factor of 12%, followed by household use, which merely saw a rise of 2%. In fact, out of the 5 industries, these were the only 2 to witness an increase in water usage, and the change in proportion for household use was the least among all sectors.
On the other hand, the most prominent decline in water utility was in the food industry, at 7%, followed by the manufacturing sector, at 4%.
