Overall, males less than females in most of the age groups, except 75 age bracket.
It is also clear that similarities trend can be observed. Both genders lowest in the 19-24 age group, after which reached peak in middle age but saw a decrease to same levels.
In the 19-54 age range, men and women proportion gradually increased. The figures for both genders in the 19-24 age bracket approximately 15%. The 25-34 age group had slightly lower percentages for males (20%) and females (22%) compared to the 35-44 and 45-54 age groups, which were 25% and 27% for females respectively. However, the figures for males in both these groups were at 22%.
As men and women aged within the 55-75 range, their consumption decreased. The number of people 55-64 aged eating fruit and vegetables were 32% males about 35% females. Males and females rates started declining at age 65-74, to 27% and almost 30%. In the 75 age group, both genders dropped to 25%.
