The chart provides information about the proportion of males and females that consumed five or more portions of fruits and vegetables in daily basis in the UK by group of age in 2006.
Looking at the chart, females ate more portions that males. Additionaly females at the age between 55 and 64 consume the biggest percentage of fruits and vegetables among seven gruops. In comparison wemen at the age between 19 and 24 consumed the lowest numbers of portions, and reached 17 pecentage, that is twice lower in comparison with older females.
By contrast, the persantage of males who consumed five or more portions of fruits and vegetables is smaller. Howerver, males at the age of 55 and 64 and more that other groups. Males at the age between 19 and 24, similary as females, consumed the lowest percentage, that reached 15 percent in 2006.
To sum up, the percentage of males and females who are 55 and 64 years old is the higest beween seven croups, however,the youngest generation got the lowest percentage in the UK in 200.
