Overall, males outperformed females across all age groups. In addition, the proportion of those who followed a green dietary meal at the age between 55 and 64 was the most significant.
In 2008, more than a third of males and females aged 55-64 who followed WHO’s recommendation. Meanwhile, the figure for those at the age between 65 and 74 was 5% less than that of whom aged 55-64. Moreover, precisely a quarter of males and females who consumed enough fruits and vegetables.
Regarding the others, as the age was decreasing, there was a declining trend towards the fruits and vegetables intake. Specifically, the number fell from roughly 27% (males) and 23% (females) to around 23% (males) and 20% (females). Finally, 19-24 age group accounted for the least percentage, at just over 15%.
