The given graph depicts the percentage of recycled materials such as paper and cardboard, glass containers,aluminum cans and plastic ties in specific country between 1982 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the paper and cardboard were the highest recycled material over the period ,while the least proportion of material was recycled as plastic.
Paper and cardboard were recycled 65% in 1982 compared to the recycling rate of glass containers was slightly decrease by 15% in the same year. Between 1986 and 1990 the percentage of both paper and cardboard and glass containers were gradually decline by 65% and 40% respectively. Over the next four years paper and cardboard recycled by 80% and glass container was rise to 50%. there was a considerable decrease in the recycling of paper and cardboard from 78% in 1998 to 70% in 2010, whereas the ratios of glas containers was gradually increase from 52% to 60% in the same years.
The recycling of aluminum cans surged significantly from 5% in 1996 to45% in 2010. Plastic was recycled below 10 % over the period 28 years.
