Presented for consideration is a line graph pertaining to the percentage of paper and cardboard, glass containers, aluminum cans which underwent the recycling process, over a 28-period, starting from 1982.
Generally, it can be seen that glass containers and aluminum cans went up, while plastics and paper and cardboard declined. Additionally, despite seeing a jump in number, plastics still had recycled less than any other materials throughout the timeframe.
Taking a closer look at the graph reveals that there are 3 materials that were recycled and increased steadily over the years. These are glass containers, aluminum cans and plastics.During the starting years between 1982 and 1990, glass containers dropped slowly around 40%, then the after years they rose gradually. Similarly, aluminum cans and plastics were reproduced. By contract, plastics still had been recycled less than any other materials.
However, there was an opposite trend with the remaining statistics paper and cardboard from 1982 to 1994, they fructuated to around 80%. But then 1994, the number of paper and cardboard leveled off
