In Nowadays society, people use any kind of transports to move from place to place. On this document, there is a pie-chart expressing the pourcentage of people using the differents types of transports in Edmonton. Additionaly, right bellow their is a table highlighting people’s reasons for using the car in the city.

Firstly, thanks the pie-chart , we can analyse that the lion’s share of people living in Edmonton are using the car. A smaller share is using the LTR , light rail transit, about 35% of them. In opposition, only one person out of ten is using taxis or buses. The fact that teh vast majority prefer using their car than a public transport, could be source of traficjam, or even an excessive pollution.

Secondly the rable put to our disposition, underline that over the half of pepople living in Edmonton are mainly using their cars for professionals obligations or worked related. For instance, over 55% of them use their cars to collute to work, 45% for buisness, and 40% to take children to school. However, the use of the car for personnal and leisure activities is very bellow. With, to illustrate this fact, the figure for shopping shows that it is only up to 15%.
