Overall, there were some notable changes after a big gap in a half of a century. Despite this fact, there were remained or similar percentages.
Firstly, by the beggining of the twenty first century, the share of time spent on working has significantly increased by 8%, accounting for 42 percent, respectively. Another increase has happened with the point of arrival to the place of person’s work. According to the chart, the percentage of time investied has increased to 8%, starting from only 2 percent, respectively. The last growth was seen in the observed sector of relaxing at home. The diagram reveals that in 1958, only 8 percent of workers’ time were for decompression at their accommodation before the moment when that figure went up to 13%, respectively.
Regarding declines, sleeping has experienced a decrease by 7%. Consequently, it is seen that in 2008, the proportion went down to 25%, respectively. Meanwhile,the idea of going out with friends or family became less spread among employees with a percentage of only 6%. Finally, the so-called “other” sector which referred to things like hobbies or sports activities remained still for 50 years, accounting for the same figure.
